RRU (Remote Radio Unit) is a new type of distributed coverage model,which concentrates large capacity macrocell base stations in the available central machine room. It uses optical fiber to pull the RF module in the base station to the remote RF unit, and put it on the site determined by the network planning, thus saving a large number of machine rooms needed in the conventional solution. At the same time, by using large capacity Acer station which supports a large number of remote optical fiber , it can realize the transformation between capacity and coverage.
